DIRECTOR

COMDANCE (FORMERLY CSTD) BALLET & TAP TEACHING DIPLOMAS, CERTIFIED DANCE CIRQUE, LITTLE MONKEYS, TUMBLETOWN & FLEX-ABILITY, CSTD JAZZ, CERT. IV in CHILDCARE

Miss Michele started dancing at the tender age of 3 with Trend Academy of Dance right here in Wynnum as well as studying Ballet with Miss Elsie Seguss. She holds her teaching qualifications in CSTD Tap and Ballet, as well as her Elementary with RAD, and has studied various different syllabi throughout her dance years. She has performed character work for Disney and Expo, and has performed at numerous corporate and charity gigs, as well as pantomimes around South-East Qld. She has also toured with 'Memories of Theatre Royal' , and sang and performed in Theatre Restaurant shows around Brisbane.

Michele has taught for various studios around Brisbane, and had her previous dance studio in Brisbane for 10yrs before moving to Victoria and opening 3 studios there.

Michele comes from a dance family: Her Mother taught dance for 65 years and performed at the Theatre Royal, her aunt was a Channel 9 dancer, and her sister is a professional dancer/actor having appeared in numerous musicals, at Jupiters Casino in the lead, commercials, print ads and even on Neighbours!

Previous students have performed in film clips for Michael Jackson, various musicals such as "Boy from Oz', 'Chicago' and many others, Movieworld, Seaworld and choreographed for Britney Spears,while other students have gone on to open their own dance studios.

Now Michele is back in Brisbane, and looking forward to imparting her vast dance experiences to our gorgeous students.

TAP DIRECTOR, MUSICAL THEATRE, BALLET & NATIONAL TEACHER & ADULT TAP

Miss Jan started dance at a very young age and completed her Ballet exams with Miss Elsie Seguss in the city. At the same time, she performed nightly on the Theatre Royal as a regular Ballet girl where she learned all facets of dance and Musical Theatre from the Ballet Mistress at the Theatre Royal and from visiting entertainers from overseas.

Miss Jan owned and ran her very successful dance studio in Wynnum for 65 years, and had many students go on to have very successful careers in the Musical Theatre world as well as in international Ballet Companies such as the Netherlands Ballet.

She entered her students in exams where most, if not all, obtained the highest marks possible, and her performing groups were holders of the Aggregate Trophy at the Wynnum Eisteddfod for over 15 years in a row!

Miss Jan has a vast repertoire which includes Tap, Ballet, Jazz, National, Lyrical, Contemporary, Cabaret and Musical Theatre.

She never stopped learning or growing as a teacher, and it has always been something she's passionate about - passing her knowledge on to a younger generation of dancers and instilling a love of dance as well as ethics and a desire to bring out the best in children through dance.

ACRO TEACHER

Miss Mel comes to our studio with a wealth of knowledge. She has taught dance of all genres & styles broadly throughout Queensland including Glen Wood Tap, British Dancing Association Hip Hop, RAD Ballet and of course, Jazz. She formerly had her own very successful dance studio in North Queensland, and has been teaching for a number of years.

We are very happy to have Miss Mel, and we can't wait to see our students develop their skills in Acrobats under her expert tutelage.

CIRCUS PROGRAMS TEACHER

Miss Kayleen is our AMAZING resident Dance Cirque and Little Monkeys teacher!

She holds a certificate III in childcare, her blue card and First Aid and has 13 years dance experience. She is also a fully certified Dance Cirque and Little Monkeys teacher. She has been trained in Juggling, Silks, Lyra Hoop and Trapeze.

Miss Kayleen is an outstanding Circus teacher and cannot wait to pass on her love of Circus to our students and is excited to meet everyone!!

MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER

Miss Kat is our AMAZING resident Musical Theatre Teacher!

She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience and holds a degree in Drama, as well as having performed on the stage in various shows.

Miss Kat is an outstanding Musical Theatre teacher and cannot wait to pass on her love of drama and acting to our students!
